ABOUT E.J.

E.J. OAKLORE is many things; a writer, philosopher, artist, singer, Pagan clergy, a U.S. Navy veteran, and a self-styled "occasional thinker of inspired thoughts." He resides in northeast Florida with three fur babies. In addition to his various occupations, E.J. enjoys reading, music – especially singing, the arts, home-spun crafts, decorating, and is a lover of food, animals, the outdoors, nature, camping, and camp fires.

CLERGY

A lover of nature and devoted to the study of metaphysics and philosophy since childhood, E.J. thinks of himself as having been "born Druid." His call to that tradition began formally in 1998 with his initiation and later ordination as a Priest of the Wiccan faith. Not long after, he began exploring Druidry. In 2008 he founded the first congregation of a church that seeks to join the two traditions, Wicca and Druidry, known today as The Druidcraft Fellowship.

E.J. has studied philosophy, religion, metaphysics, history and a wide range of other fields both independently and formally, notably with Yale University and the University of Edinburgh, among others. He holds graduate-level certificates in pastoral counseling and Celtic Pagan Religious Studies. In his metaphysical practice, OakLore is a bard, liturgist, singer, drummer, and Reiki practitioner. He is Chair of the Covenant of Avalon Theological Seminary, and himself a candidate for Doctor of Theology at the University of Sedona. He currently leads the Heart of ManannĂ¡n, a congregation of the Druidcraft Fellowship, in northeastern Florida as their Clergy.
